Lakeview

Bordered the banks of Lake Ontario, with breathtaking views of the surrounding natural splendor, the area of Lakeview is a beautiful place to call home. Just southeast of Mississauga’s city centre, it’s in perfect proximity to downtown Toronto. Even today, Lakeview retains a historic charm, and has a warm and welcoming feel. The area first developed after the British government purchased the land in a treaty with the natives in 1806. Soon after, Lakeshore Road and Dundas Road were built to facilitate the wave of new settlers. The surrounding forest land was cleared out to make place for farms, and people were quickly drawn to the Lakeview and a strong community started to develop.
